Janaloka

Home » The Universe » Janaloka

Janaloka is the third-highest loka in the universe and is the abode of the sons of Brahma. Janaloka is also called Janarloka. It is 80,000 yojans below Tapoloka and 20,000 yojans above Maharloka.

Residents

The residents of Janaloka include the 4 Kumaras (Sanaka, Sanandana, Sanatana, and Sanatkumara) and mind-born sons of Brahma like Bhrigu. When the mahapralaya comes, the residents of Janaloka transform into spiritual bodies and enter Vaikhunta, where they reside eternally.
